HANDS ON TRAINING WORKSHOP IN

HPLC, GC, UV, IR, TLC, cGMP

DISSOLUTION

The hands on workshop are designed to provide complete and thorough working knowledge of chromatography and spectroscopy, to successfully perform analysis of real samples. The workshop is particularly designed for individuals with little or no prior knowledge of HPLC, GC, UV, IR, TLC, and cGMP.

A semester of Instrumental Analysis usually takes 4 months and provides only the theoretical knowledge of chromatography and spectroscopy. On the job training, in most cases, is limited to the operation of laboratory instruments and is available to a lucky few. For individuals who must improve their chances of securing employment in analytical chemistry, this workshop provides the ideal opportunity to gain basic knowledge and operating experience of HPLC, GC, UV, IR, TLC and Dissolution.

The workshop benefits  those who are not able or willing to wait for many months to secure a suitable opportunity in their field of interest. The workshop is intentionally limited to four participants in order to provide each person with individual attention and ample opportunity to operate HPLC, GC, UV and IR.

Chromak research also conducts comprehensive laboratory training courses. These courses include extensive hands on training in HPLC, GC, TLC, UV, IR, Dissolution, standard laboratory equipment, GMP, GLP, methods development, methods validation and troubleshooting. Students are provided with extensive practical experience and on the job training until placement. Upon completion of laboratory training course, students will attain the level of competence similar to one year of industrial laboratory experience.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is recommended for chemists who are not currently using HPLC, GC and those who are seeking employment in analytical chemistry. During the past decade or so instrumentation has changed analytical chemistry in a very significant way. In a typical analytical laboratory today almost sixty percent of the activities involve some type of chromatography.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Chromak research provides following additional services free of charge to all applicants participating in the HPLC workshop.

1.      Resume update to include HPLC hands on experience. Resume format is well-tested and proven effective in the industry.

2.      Tips on how to prepare for interview, how to handle the interview and how to succeed in an interview.

3.      Some Do’s and Don’ts.

4.      How to get the edge over competition.

5.      List of most commonly asked questions and answers.

6.      After completing the four-day workshop students may be eligible for on the job training.

7.      Placement assistance includes direct referral to companies and through selected agencies.

Applicants are advised to continue reading course material and ask questions during and after completing the workshop. Special sessions can be arranged prior to attending interview.
